So I searched for “Morio Higaonna” in YouTube and was pleasantly surprises to find videos of him doing katas and such, as well as videos of a few of the people close to him.

Morio Higaonna is definitely on my personal list of role-models, and I’ve had the opportunity to train under him twice. Amazing guy. And yes, Chankrisna is very largely based on him. As you watch the video above, think of Chankrisna as doing that.
