School names are ridiculous.

I was out with a few friends last night, and we were talking about how the names of a couple schools are annoying. For example, I go to the “Academy of Art University,” which is redundant. Another example would be “Parsons The New School for Design,” which puts a “The” where it has no business being.

My friend Russell and I had talked about this before, and we had come up with a name for a school that we will found in the future that is guaranteed to be successful. Neither of us could remember it off the top of our heads last night though, so I promised the others that I’d post it up here when I got back to my computer. So here it is:

University of California The Russell Coniff Renaissance College of James the Laslavic Center New for Design of Superior Institute of Unlimited School: Quantum Academy

Just terrific, right? All we need now is a marching band.

Oh, and you’re welcome. :P
