After all, writing is what I do best. And as someone who has entered a piece or 18 into writing competitions and come out pretty decently, if not on top, then I don't feel it's unfounded to think I'm a helpful editor. I rewrote that last sentence three times in order to cut out the cockiness and overconfidence, but what the hell. I am cocky and overconfident when it comes to writing.
